Guest Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 I have used your products on metal - great stuff! Now I need a paint to apply to wood to provide a very durable waterproof coating. Will be exposed to high humidity and moisture - not water as such. Do you a recommendation. Thanks for your help. Quote
KBS Coatings Posted May 12, 2008 Author Report Posted May 12, 2008 Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate it. The first thing with wood is to make sure it is extremely dry. Clean any previously painted surfaces with AquaKlean. http://www.kbs-coatings.com/KBS-AquaKlean_p_1-27.html Sand any previously painted surfaces with 300 grit. Apply 3 coats of RustSeal (because it is a very humid environment ... otherwise 2 coats would be fine.) http://www.kbs-coatings.com/KBS-RustSeal_p_2-18.html Topcoat with a UV stable topcoat (if applicable). Complete instructions can be found here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/RustSeal-In ... _38-1.html Please let us know if this helps and if you have any additional questions. Quote
