When treating a large steel diesel tank, such as in a boat, all the rust is at the bottom when water will lie. It is impossible to treat the interior of such a tank with 100% confidence of no gaps, when working through an access hole. What surface preparation will maximise adhesion between a partial coat of tank-sealer and diesel? Will sand-blasting, and/or using salt-water (to create a fine layer of fresh rust for good grip) help?

Can your gas tank sealer kits be used over a previously coated gas tank?

“I have been working on motorcycles since 1970 and have tried every thing out there. Wish I had found this 44 years ago! Application is easy and the finished product is like nothing else out there. It is like a new coat of steel on the inside of tank. Follow the safety precautions and mask your finished paint well.” -Knucklehead from Spokane, WA Be sure to check out our Gas Tank Sealer Kits.

I have a 200 gallon metal tank. How much of your products do I need? Can you please provide instructions?
